What we check
- Body: thickness gauge on every panel, signs of repainting, filler, replaced parts.

How to arrange the inspection
- Agree with the seller to bring the car to us and book a convenient time: ….
- Ask the seller not to warm up the engine. A cold start shows what a warm engine hides: knocks, smoke, rough running.
- Bring the registration certificate: we match the VIN on the body with the documents and check the VIN plates for signs of tampering.
- Leave time for a short test drive. Gearbox, brakes and steering are best checked on the move.

Will you see if the car has been in an accident?

Why should the engine be cold when we inspect it?
Noisy hydraulic lifters, a stretched timing chain, blue smoke, hard starting: many faults show only in the first minutes after a cold start. A warmed-up engine can look "perfect".
