- We compare the card with the body next to the repair area: outdoors, under a lamp, straight on and at an angle.
- If the shade drifts, we adjust the formula and spray again.
What affects the price and difficulty
- Paint type: solid colors are easier; with metallic and pearl, the shade depends on the flakes and how the paint is applied.
- Fading: on an older car the color can differ even between neighboring panels.
- Three-stage colors: each layer is checked with its own test spray.

How to check the match
Look at it outdoors in daylight, not inside the booth. Metallic paint is also checked at a sharp angle: from the side it can look lighter or darker than straight on.
