What we do

When we do not paint
If a wheel is cracked, or bent so it can't hold pressure, paint won't help. It needs straightening or replacement. The technician tells you after inspection.
Color
We can restore the factory color or choose black, graphite or another to your taste. The color is matched from a sample, as for spot painting.
Why paint peels off wheels
Wheels heat up from the brakes and take brake dust, salty water and harsh car wash chemicals. If the old finish wasn't fully stripped and degreased, the new layer lifts in bubbles, most often on the spokes and at the rim edge. Prep usually takes longer than the painting itself.
What affects the price
- Size and design: many thin spokes and a deep lip mean more hand work.
- How deep the curb rash is and how many wheels are damaged.
- Old finish: peeling clear coat and corrosion under it are stripped to bare metal.
- Finish: single color, two-tone, matte or gloss clear coat.
- Tire fitting and balancing: ask whether included.
How to check the result
The finish is even on and between the spokes, with no runs or orange peel. The rim edge is smooth, with no trace of curb rash. After fitting, the steering doesn't shake at speed, because the wheels are balanced.

Why does the steering shake after hitting a curb if the rash is small?
The rash itself doesn't cause vibration. Most likely the rim got bent or the balance is off. We check the wheel for bends before painting. Painting a bent rim is pointless, so it gets straightened or replaced first.
