Who it is for

This is a check of a car you already own, not one you are about to buy (for that, see the pre-purchase inspection). People usually book it:

• Right after buying a car, to know its real condition and plan the year's repairs.
• Before a long trip: mountain passes, Adjara's hill roads, a drive to Tbilisi or abroad.
• When "something feels off" but you cannot tell what: a new noise, a vibration, a warning light that comes and goes.
• Before summer: Batumi heat puts the cooling system and A/C under maximum load.
• When the car sat for a long time or its mileage and service history are unknown.

What we check, system by system

• Engine: fault codes in all modules, live sensor data, cold start, oil and coolant leaks, belts, fluid levels and condition.
• Gearbox: shifting, jerks, slipping, leaks; for automatics and CVTs also fault codes and fluid temperature.
• Suspension and steering: inspection on a lift, play in ball joints, arms, tie rods and bushings, shocks, CV joints, steering rack.
• Brakes: pad and disc thickness, hoses, fluid condition, ABS operation.
• Electrics: battery under load, alternator charging, starter, lights, dashboard warnings.
• A/C: vent temperature, compressor and fan operation.

What you get

A written report for each system in three columns: "urgent" (safety or risk of an expensive failure), "soon" and "OK". Each item comes with an estimated cost. You are free to have the repairs done anywhere: the report is yours.
