Car Body Weldingin Batumi
Car body welding at PRO SERVICE (Batumi, Airport Highway 212): replacing damaged panels, welding in sills and arches, floor and structural repair after accidents. We use MIG welding with shielding gas …, and treat and rust-proof the seams. Price — from … GEL, by estimate.
What we weld
- Sills, arches, floor, frame rails.
- Panel replacement: rear quarter panels, rear panel, roof.
- Structural parts after accidents — along factory seam locations.
- Small repairs: brackets, exhaust mounts ….
Why the technique matters
Thin body metal warps and loses strength when it overheats. So we weld in short runs, follow factory seam locations, then add rust protection and seam sealer.
How the welding is done
- Inspection: we mark the limits of the rust or damage and remove trim and parts in the way.
- Damaged metal is cut back to sound steel, following factory seams where possible.
- A repair panel is fitted, or a patch is made from sheet of the right gauge.
- Tack welds first, gaps to neighboring panels are checked, then short runs with pauses to let the metal cool.
- The seam is ground, primed, sealed with seam sealer, and the inner cavities get anti-corrosion wax.
- If the seam is visible, the panel is prepared and painted.
What affects the price
- Size of the damaged area and how many patches are needed.
- Access: the floor under the seats, the spare wheel well or a chassis rail under the engine all need stripping.
- What sits next to the weld: fuel and brake lines, wiring, plastic — removed or shielded.
- A ready-made repair panel or a patch fabricated on site.
- Painting and cavity treatment afterwards.

FAQ
How much does body welding cost?
From … GEL for small repairs. Panel and structural replacement — by estimate.
Will the weld rust?
Not if the seam is treated with rust protection and sealed.
Can you weld a hole in the floor?
Yes. We cut out the rotten section and weld in a patch of new metal.
Why is a patch over the hole a bad idea?
The rusty metal stays underneath and moisture gets trapped between the sheets, so corrosion carries on out of sight. The right way is to cut out the rot and butt-weld new metal in.
Is it safe to weld near the fuel tank and wiring?
Yes, with precautions: the fuel tank and lines are removed or shielded first, and the battery is disconnected to protect the electronics.
How can I tell the welding was done properly?
The seam is continuous, with no burn-through or pinholes. The panel next to it isn't rippled, and gaps to neighboring parts are even. Inside, the seam is covered with sealer and anti-corrosion coating, with no bare metal showing.
Why not use stick welding?
Stick (arc) welding puts too much heat into thin body steel. The sheet burns through and warps. Body work calls for MIG under shielding gas or resistance spot welding.
