SuspensionRepair
Suspension repair at PRO SERVICE (Batumi, Airport Highway 212): suspension diagnostics, shock absorber and brake pad replacement, wheel alignment, fixing knocks. Potholes, cobblestones and Adjara's mountain switchbacks wear a suspension out faster than most owners expect. Diagnostics from … GEL, takes 30-60 min.
Signs of suspension problems
- Knocks over bumps and in turns.
- The car pulls to one side, the steering wheel is not straight.
- Uneven tire wear.
- Bouncing after bumps. Nose dive when braking.
- Squeaking, vibration, long braking distance.
What you can spot yourself before the visit
- Oily streaks on the shock body. It's leaking and will soon stop damping.
- A torn or slipped CV boot behind the wheel. Dirt and water finish the joint quickly.
- Tread worn on one edge. The angles are off, or suspension parts are worn.
- The car keeps bouncing after you push hard on a corner of the body.
None of this replaces a lift inspection. But it helps you tell the mechanic what bothers you.
Services
Start with suspension diagnostics — a lift inspection of joints, control arms, bushings, struts. It shows which part actually needs replacing.
Suspension:
- Shock absorber replacement — in pairs per axle, mounts checked.
- Control arm replacement — bent by potholes or with worn joints.
- Bushing replacement — creaks, dull knocks, a car that wanders.
- Ball joint replacement — front knock over bumps. A worn ball joint is dangerous.
- CV joint replacement — clicking when turning under throttle, or a torn boot.
- Wheel bearing replacement — hum that rises with speed.
Steering:
- Steering rack repair — knock in the steering, play, leaks.
- Power steering repair — heavy steering, pump whine, fluid leaks.
- Wheel alignment — after suspension repair, pothole hits and tire changes.
Brakes:
- Brake pad replacement — with a check of discs and calipers.
- Brake disc replacement and disc machining — runout and vibration when braking.
- Brake fluid replacement — the fluid absorbs moisture, and the pedal goes soft.
After a serious impact — body geometry restoration.

FAQ
How can I tell the knock is from the suspension?
Only a lift inspection confirms it. A knock can come from a strut, ball joint, tie rod, sway bar link or even an exhaust mount, and diagnostics pins down the exact part.
What most often fails on Adjara roads?
Sway bar links, bushings, shocks and ball joints, roughly in that order. Inspection tells you which of them your car actually needs.
Do I need an alignment after repair?
As a rule, yes. New control arms, ball joints or steering parts throw the angles off.
How long will I wait?
Diagnostics take 30-60 min.
